Missouri Triple Crown Approaches for POWRi Late Model Division on July 4-6
Belleville, IL. (7/2/24) Celebrating the Independence weekend with a triple threat of excitement, tributes, and celebrations; the Missouri Triple Crown looms for the Hermitage Lumber POWRi Late Model Division with a visit to a terrific trifecta of hosting Show-Me-State hosting venues on July 4-6.
Beginning the three-day holiday weekend spectacle of Ozark-adjacent Missouri Triple Crown speed on July 4th, Lucas Oil Speedway takes center stage with Casey’s Thursday Night Thunder Kids Night at the Races plus Fireworks presented by State Tech. Divisions of competition include the Hermitage Lumber POWRi Late Models, USRA-sanctioned B-Mod, Modifieds, and the Stock Car divisions. POWRi Late Model payout will be 1. $1000, 2. $800, 3. $700, 4. $600, 5. $450, 6. $300, 7. $250, 8. $200, 9. $175, 10. $150, 11. $130, 12. $120, 13. $110 14-22: $100. The event and fireworks display will be fully available at www.racindirt.com.
Subsequently the very next night, Callaway Raceway welcomes entrants on Friday, July 5th for Night Two of the Missouri Triple Crown featuring the headlining POWRi Late Model division as well as POWRi-sanctioned Pure Stock, Super Stock, B-Mod, and Midwest Mod classes or competition. POWRi Late Model payout will be 1. $1000, 2. $800, 3. $700, 4. $600, 5. $450, 6. $300, 7. $250, 8. $200, 9. $175, 10. $150, 11. $130, 12. $120, 13. $110 14-22: $100. The event will be fully available at www.s2ftv.com.
Dedicating the Missouri Triple Crown POWRi Late Model challenge finale as the ‘Jason Russell Memorial’, Lake Ozark Speedway will graciously host the 25(+2) lap POWRi Late Model feature event with a purse of 1. $2,502, 2. $1250, 3. $1000, 4. $900, 5. $800, 6. $700, 7. $600, 8. $500, 9. $400, 10. $350, 11. $325, 12-22: $300. Classes scheduled for competition are also set to include the POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprint League, POWRi National & West Midget Leagues, as well as the POWRi Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League.
